Through suggestions for epilepsy films, the editors hope to discover entirely new territories in film which until now have hardly been considered, in terms of countries of production, different film cultures and languages.

For example, the ‘continent' of Indian films remained largely hidden to the database editors due to language constraints as well as lack of access to the films themselves.
